Principal's Message
Miss Erin Clayton
Welcome to our second newsletter for 2025
We have started our year well. The school has had its opening mass, blessed the student leaders and welcomed new students and staff at a Liturgy. We also had a very successful meet the teacher and community picnic where new connections and relationships were made. Thank you for the ongoing support you show for our school events. I look forward to seeing everyone at our Friends of the School Stay and Play meeting at 2.50pm Thursday 20th February.
Thank you those that have put their names forward for DIY skills around the school. We look forward to working together to get those little jobs done and improve our school grounds. The first task is the bag bay outside of Pukeko, adding enough space for all the students bags. If you have some handyman skills please let us know, any help is most appreciated.

Building Project
You can really see the building project taking shape with the wooden supports being added over this last week. Everything is still on track for the mid year deadline. These much needed teaching spaces will make a world of difference to our learners.
Please don't enter the building site. even on the weekend. There are a number of hazards and for everyones safety the fence has been put in place.

They support the school in a number of ways including fundraising and community connection We are looking for key representatives from across our community to ensure that everyone is involved. We are also looking to establish a 'Dads' of the school group who may be able to help with small handyman tasks and sports coaching and leading. Parking
Our school roll is growing bigger and there is simply not enough parking space at the Church for everyone at 2.45pm. There is however plenty of on street parking in walkable distance to school to pick your child up at the end of the day. If you are physically able, please park on the surrounding streets and walk to school.
Also if you are needing to cross the road please move off the school driveway and to the grass verge to do so. These simple actions will help keep everyone safe and it means we can get away from school on time. If we continue to have problems at pick up times we will have to look for alternative solutions to ensure everyone's safety.
