Deputy Principal's Message
Miss Urai Vanxay
Tena Koutou Katoa
Kia ora and welcome to our week 3 newsletter. Term 2 has started with a hive
of activity as we celebrated Book Week and Mother's Day last week.Thank you
to everyone who helped make the week a success. It was definitely a week
enjoyed by all.
Our Mother's Day assembly highlighted the proverb “it takes a village to raise a
family” and we have found this to be so true. In our community we are lucky to
have Aunties, Uncles, Grandpas and Grandmas step in to help raise our village.
Mothers come in all forms and we recognise the importance of partnership to
ensure our tamariki have the best start.
Have a great rest of the week.

Safe speed around schools
Thanks to everyone for keeping our new speed limit in mind and working together to make our carpark and drive a far safer place for our students. Please make sure to keep the painted footpath clear in the carpark to allow everyone to walk safely.

Bikes and Scooters on the Drive
It is wonderful to see more people scootering or riding to school. Just a gentle reminder, before and after school, please make sure to walk your bike in the carpark and down the drive. We have a number of people using the same space at the same time and by walking your bike or scooter you help everyone stay safe at this busy time. Thanks.
