Principal's Message
Miss Erin Clayton
Tena Koutou Katoa
I was at a course last week and came back to school Monday, to a wonderful surprise. Our Young Vinnies and school community are working so hard with our Foodbank drive. Thank you for every item that we have collected so far. It means so much to our community and truly demonstrates the Spirit of St Pius X school. Keep it up for the next few weeks. Whatever you can give is greatly appreciated.

Next week is Holy Week. The school will have a range of Liturgies over the week. We will start with a Liturgy for Palm Sunday on Monday 2.25pm in the Church. Kiwi class is leading us for Palm Sunday. On Thursday Hoiho and Tui will lead our Good Friday liturgy at 2.25pm before our Easter break. Wednesday 3rd of April Ruru A and B will hold a Liturgy marking the Resurrection this will be at 12pm in the Church. BSLA Parent meeting with the Junior Team
The junior team is running a BSLA meeting today, Thursday 21st at 6-7pm. BSLA stands for Better Start Literacy Approach. The meeting aims to share with family how Reading is taught at school and how to best support literacy at home. We look forward to seeing our families there and sharing this information.
Cultural Showcase
After our Easter break on April 5th we will have the St Pius X Cultural Showcase. This is a chance to share your family talents and perform for the community. If you have an item you would like to perform please fill in the form sent home or at the School office. We still have slots available but they are filling fast.
Enrollment
If you have a younger sibling to enroll at school from 2024-2026 please ensure that Maree has their name and birthday in the office. This ensures we have a place available when your child turns 5. 2024 and early 2025 roll numbers are nearly closed.
Sacred Heart Open Day
Sacred Heart is shortly holding their open day for enrollments in 2025.
Please see the community notices section for more details.
Saint John's Art Expo
On this weekend. Please see the community notices section regarding the upcoming Art Expo fundraiser at St John's College
