Principal's Message
Miss Erin Clayton
Kia ora koutou
A warm welcome to Week 4, Term 4.
Thank you for the Quiz Night
We had an amazing quiz night last Saturday. It was great to see our wider community supporting EOTC for the school. We raised over $2500 dollars. This all helps to keep the cost of Camp down for everyone. Thanks especially go to Mr Easto for his fantastic running of the event. Thanks also to the greater school team for helping on the night and the Friends of the School for their effort in the raffles. I am truly looking forward to this event next year.
Memorial Tree and Book
The month of November is one of remembrance in the Catholic Church. As such we have our memorial tree and book in the admin block over November. You are warmly invited to add names of remembrance to both the wall and book. These names form part of our daily prayer this Month.

All Saints celebration
Last Friday was a great celebration of All Saints and our Grandparents day. Thank you to all who made this day so amazing. Here is a handful of pictures celebrating our Saints Parade and Grandparents assembly.
Giving Tree Term 4
The Vinnies of Melville have asked us for help with some families in our community who may struggle over Christmas. As such we have set up our giving tree next week. It will remain in the admin block until the end of term. The purpose of the giving tree is to be a place to collect gifts and food for families in our community to help them celebrate Christmas. You are encouraged to place an unwrapped gift for a child or teenager under the tree. We are also collecting food items for the Vinnies food bank under the tree at the same time.

Notes on Enrolments: Our school is growing and so is the demand to be part of our wonderful community. We have
closed our roll to all enrolments for 2025 and we have an extensive waitlist. If you have a younger sibling turning five in 2025 or the beginning of 2026 and you want them to be enrolled at St Pius X please come and see Maree in the office ASAP.
Also if you know that you are moving or changing school in the new year, please come and tell us at the office as soon as you are able. It means we can give some certainty to those who are on the waitlist for the new year and to also give your child a proper farewell.

Pizza Tuesday
This Week was the last week of Pizza Tuesday. Thank you for all the support around this fundraiser for the school. It helps St Pius X continue its wonderful EOTC opportunities.
